The ITNG Experience was designed to motivate, empower and inspire young people to fulfil their dreams.

We empower children to make their own choices by teaching them strategies that involve them thinking and reflecting on themselves, whilst also learning to become resilient in times of adversity.

This was the night all my dreams came true, my debut for Bolton Wanderers Football Club, I was 19 and the crowd was singing my name. I remember how proud my mum and dad were after the game. The next day the manager resigned and I was made redundant! It was the BEST thing that happened to me, although I thought my life was over at the time! It made me develop real character, I had no money, no home and no handouts, I was carrying bricks to earn minimum wages in the freezing cold.

ANYONE can bounce back and achieve "their" greatness... it's simple. It's just a mind-set. When you have nowhere to go, you have to make it happen!

What it is;

Inspiring The Next Generation involves encouraging young people to have self-belief, confidence and to pursure their dreams. Our specially designed programme supports children by developing their life skills in a safe and inspiring environment. We empower children to make their own choices by teaching them strategies that involve them thinking and reflecting on themselves, whilst also learning to become resilient in times of adversity. We motivate and encourage them to think creatively and see the value in taking time to consider their future. We support them in thinking broadly in order to ensure they reach their maximum potential and don't limit themselves.

What's included?

This is an online learning experience made up of 6 modules. We have produced these 6 modules and uploaded them to our platform, it is easily accessible to anyone who wants to purchase it. Each module includes a 15-20 minute long video with a downloadable workbook for the whole programme.

Why was it created;

The ITNG experience was created to motivate, encourage and empower young people to follow their dreams. Luke's passion for ITNG comes from a very personal story from when he was at primary school. He was fortunate enough to find a role model and someone who was prepared to give their time and effort to Luke. This figure was his headteacher, Mr Spencer. Imagine a world where our children understood who they are, who they want to be and where they want to go. Growing into adults with skills, values and beliefs that serve them well.

It's really good because it just sort of makes you think this is what i want to do and then I'm going to do it. It gives you the confidence to do what it takes to do that thing. Working in small groups, his positive and inspiring workshops enabled students to leave their comfort zones and plan their futures. By focusing on planning their next steps to success, our students were able to relise that progressing in their GCSE studeies would help them to reach their goals. Luke has infectious enthusiam and energy and inspired even the most reluctant students to participate fully with the programme. Today, year 12 students fondly talk about their workshops with Luke who made them believe they could acheive their goals.

Luke has worked with over 550 children, ranging from 11-16, this year and, in all my time as Head of PE, I have never seen such an engaging programme. The difference with the ITNG programme is that it gives the children the self-belief that they can achieve their dreams. I would love to see this programme being delivered to as many students as possible, as I can truly see the difference in the attitudes of our students. The programme doesn't just help students to 'dream big', it inspires them to take action and provides them with the tools to do so.
